History of the Sheraton Hotel (Lima, Peru)

Located in the historic center of Lima, the place where the hotel was built holds many secrets. Its exact location is in front of the the Justice Palace of Peru and next to a shopping center called Real Plaza Centro Civico.

The story begins around the year 1861, in that place, "the Panopticon" begins to function, a very modern penitentiary for its time and that housed the most dangerous murderers and criminals in Peru. In 1960, its demolition was decided. For this, the execution of the inmates took place. There were many rumors that those who bought the land (today the Sheraton hotel), bought it at a cheap price since they knew of the fact of violent deaths that occurred inside the Panopticon.

In 1970, one of the best hotels in Peru began to be built. For the year 1973, the Sheraton hotel was inaugurated and over time it managed to prosper.

Until in 1990, a tragic event would occur. One night, a couple named Leandro Reano and Marita Alpaca Raa stayed, he being a well-known banker and she, his couple. That fateful night both argued and the man threw the woman out the window for a reason, the man didn't want to have a child and she was pregnant. The woman fell so close to the pool and died instantly. For years it was not possible to erase the traces of the tragic event since traces of blood remained in the area where she died. The man did everything to avoid going to prison, he paid the police to lie so that he could be freed from all guilt. Marita's mother stated that the uterus didn't belong to her daughter but that they had put another one in its place.

In 2016, a new tragic event happened. A 17-year-old Colombian girl circumvented hotel security and climbed to the highest part of the hotel. A security guard followed her but to no avail, the young woman threw herself into the void, falling very close and on the same floor where Marita Alpaca Raa died. Acquaintances of the victim point out that the young woman belonged to a religious group and that the main cause of her fateful decision was because she had problems with her boyfriend.

Some of the staff and people who have worked in the place, including guests, have witnessed paranormal activity in the hotel. It could be said that they are the souls of the inmates, Marita Alpaca Raa and the 17-year-old girl who died dramatically in that place.

Historia del Hotel Sheraton (Lima, Perú)

Ubicado en el centro histórico de Lima, el lugar donde fue construido el hotel alberga muchos secretos. Su ubicación exacta es al frente del Palacio de Justicia de Perú y al costado de un centro comercial de nombre Real Plaza Centro Cívico. 

La historia comienza hacia el año 1861, en dicho lugar, empieza a funcionar "el Panóptico" una penitenciaria muy moderna para su época y que albergó a los asesinos y delincuentes más peligrosos de Perú. En el año 1960, se decide su demolición. Para esto, se produjo el fusilamiento de los reclusos. Hubieron mucho rumores de que los que compraron el terreno (hoy en día el hotel Sheraton), lo compraron a un precio barato ya que sabían del hecho de muertes violentas ocurridas dentro del Panóptico. 

En 1970, comienza a construirse uno de los mejores hoteles de Perú. Para el año 1973, se inaugura el hotel Sheraton y con el tiempo alcanzó prosperar. 

Hasta que en el año 1990,ocurriría un hecho trágico. Una noche, se hospedó una pareja  de nombres Leandro Reaño y Marita Alpaca Raa, siendo él un conocido banquero y ella su pareja. Esa fatídica noche ambos discutieron y el hombre arrojó por la ventana a la mujer por un motivo, el hombre no quería tener un hijo y ella estaba embarazada. La mujer cayó cerca a la piscina y falleció instantáneamente. Por años no se logró borrar las huellas del trágico suceso ya que quedaron vestigios de sangre en la zona donde falleció. El hombre hizo de todo para evitar ir a prisión, pagó a policías para que mientan y así él salga libre de toda culpa. La madre de Marita, declaró que el útero no era de su hija sino que habían puesto otro en su lugar y que no le pertenecía a su hija. 

En 2016, sucedió un nuevo hecho trágico. Una joven colombiana de 17 años burló la seguridad del hotel y subió hasta la parte más alta del hotel. Un guardia de seguridad la siguió pero fue en vano, la joven se lanzó al vacío, cayó muy cerca y en la misma planta donde falleció Marita Alpaca Raa. Conocidos de la víctima señalan que la joven pertenecía a un grupo religioso y que la causa principal de su fatídica decisión fue porque tenía problemas con el novio. 

Parte del personal y personas que han trabajado en el lugar, incluso huéspedes, cuentan haber presenciado actividad paranormal en el hotel. Se podría decir que son las almas de los reclusos, Marita Alpaca Raa y la joven de 17 años que fallecieron dramáticamente en dicho lugar.

¿Por qué se suicidó la mujer en 2016? 

La adolescente que se suicidó estaba muy confundida, lloraba y sufría demasiado. Ella pertenecía a un "grupo religioso", pero ella adoraba al diablo. El diablo la tentó ese día y se suicidó. La silueta extraña era un guardia de seguridad quien intentó salvar a la menor de edad de que cometiera suicidio. Además de que la menor tenía problemas con el novio, tenía problemas de violencia física en casa. No halló solución a su vida. 

¿Continuarán las muertes en el hotel Sheraton? 

Sucederán 1 ó 2 muertes más en los próximos años en el hotel Sheraton. Seremos testigos de 2 fallecimientos más. Ocurrirán de una manera muy similar a los fallecimientos anteriores. Tendrá como protagonistas a una pareja donde la mujer fallecerá. Y el otro fallecimiento será de un hombre mayor. Los trabajadores y sobretodo, los guardias de seguridad, siempre deben estar atentos.

El hombre mayor morirá por causas naturales o enfermedad. Respecto a la pareja de esposos, la mujer es quien fallecerá. Será una mujer de tez clara quien se quitará la vida lanzándose al vacío.
